greasypalm confusion?

i joined greasypalm ages ago but only last week looked into properly and realised just how many cashbacks i could have been saving on with my everyday purchases, however, i have had about £8 sitting there for ages and had expected it to have had an increase. it says you can check to see if your tracker is set receive this info and then the cash allocated and when i checked it said mine was blocked due to the new norton security we had installed on it. this i had to install as i was getting allsorts of problems... if i follow the instructions greasypalm suggest to allow norton to give them access by the means they suggest will i also be leaving a clear path for all parasites to make my life a living hell again???
sorry this is so long and thanks to those who stuck with it ;D

I'm still waiting for my £22 cheque from Greasypalm. I'll give it a week more before kicking up a fuss. (A member since August 2004).
The link refering to the removal of Norton Advert blocking protection is here:-
    http://www.greasypalm.co.uk/cb/blocked.php
For general web browsing I use the Firefox browser which has Ad blocking built in. If I wish to purchase something then I may switch to IE if there a prospect of qualifiying for cashback rewards.

There's a greasypalm thread here which seems to have been answered by someone from the company. (reply #23 etc)
