Getting rid of unused Train Tickets

I booked several weeks ago a train from London to Glasgow so myself and my partner could spend the bank holiday weekend in Scotland for 7.30 on 28 August. A few weeks later, my partner was told she had to attend to a family matter elsewhere and won't be able to make the trip. I plan on carrying on with the trip myself as I have friends I wish to visit.
This leaves me with her ticket which has a face value of £23 and is non refundable. We also planned on going from Edinburgh to Preston a few days later for £8.50 each.
What's the best way of selling on these tickets with so little time remaining? It's not a huge amount but £31.50 would cover a week's oyster card usage for me.
Thanks for your help,
LT

Strictly speaking you are not allowed to sell train tickets (National Conditions of Carriage), so ebay and similar places will delete your adverts if they are reported.0

As stated above ebay will stop your auction, however, the only site that I know of, that won't delete your 'classified' is Gumtree havn't used it for a while so can't confirm if their T&C's have changed about train tickets.Whoa! This image violates our terms of use and has been removed from view0

You cannot sell train tickets per se. Unless you know someone personally who wants to buy them.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
Gumtree aren't supposed to sell them either, but if you carefully word your ad so that you don't metion "rail tickets" then you are likely to get away with it as I see quite a few posts selling "tickets" from x station to y station.0
