Natwest ISA. How and Where?

I want to move £1400 out of my Natwest ISA and into an Online Savings Account (that isn't Natwest)

The money is to pay for the rest of my wedding in August so it won't be in the online savings for too long.

Which Online savings account would you recommend for this?

Would keep it going afterwards as well for day to day savings

  • Why? I mean why would you want to do this? If your money is in a mini cash isa, currently i believe Natwest are offering this at 4.5% then your interest is tax free which means an online saver needs to pay you more than this to be competitive and you can transfer money out of your Natwest ISA electronically anyway. I'm puzzled as to why you want to move it? Especially for a relatively short period of time?
  • If you are a non taxpayer then you could move it to ICICI Hi-Save and earn more. I don't think any other ISA pays monthly interest better than that on that size of investment.

I would just leave it where it is until you need it and then transfer it online. The extra you could earn elsewhere will be very small, not worth the bother in my humble opinion.
If you don't like what I say slap me around with a large trout and PM me to tell me why.
