Only if its severe enough to stop you working or make working extremely difficult, You might then be able oi claim IB or for industrial injuries , if the cause was occupationalI no longer work in Council Tax Recovery but instead work as a specialist Council Tax paralegal assisting landlords and Council Tax payers with council tax disputes and valuation tribunals. My views are my own reading of the law and you should always check with the local authority in question.0

So when you provide your evidence you have to be clear about how bad you really are most of the time. It makes things a lot easier if your GP is also fully aware of how badly your asthma affects you most of the time.
This Physical health DLA guide for adults has a page at the back which helps you set out your current care needs as a checklist for your GP's notes. Trouble with it is people are different - my athsma can be bad might keep me awake all night. I manage to work though - I force myself and to help breathe I cough all day to clear the way as it were. I know people will think my athsma cant be that bad cos i work but people are different. All my views are just that and do not constitute legal advice in any way, shape or form.£2.00 savers club - £20.00 saved and banked (got a £2.00 pig and not counted the rest)Joined Store Cupboard Challenge]0
