Dont know the amount of charges

I claimed some time ago for charges on two bank accounts but cannot find the amounts/letters. I recieved the holding letter from the bank but am now reclaiming due to hardship. Can i claim without putting an actual amount?

Can I ask if you have had additional charges on the account?
What reason do you need them now?
I have not worked for NatWest Bank since February 2009

  • yes it was last year that i asked for the money back originally but i cannot find the letters i sent. Having now realised that i can still push for this due to hardship i am trying again. In the template letters it neds thse amounts put it and i cannot recall them.I have had more charges since my original request for the return of the previous ones. If i do not have the amounts can i just refer to my previous letters - i do not want to have to go through asking for statements again.

I would suggest a SAR for all your details and not just statements. If you have not had any charges since last year then I would be surprised if they offered you anything under financial hardship.
