flat screens, 2 questions ...pls

what features do i look for, ie i havent a clue what refresh rate is good or not etc?

2 - any dell codes available for screens , or other source recomendations

  • Another bargain is the Iiyama E435S that Currys / Dixons / PC World are currently selling for £199. If you use the free delivery & £10 discount codes from the vouchers forum, you can get it for about £189 delivered.
    Main advanges over the Aria one are:
    DVI (digital) input for slightly clearer picture
    10ms refresh rate (less blurry for fast-action games)
    Comes with Iiyama 3-year on-site warranty
    Looks much nicer!

    Only problem is that the website is out of stock most of the time - best time to look is mid-morning. There seems to be new stock every few days but it sells out within a couple of hours.
  • Nice specs but the contrast ratio is rather low at 300:1 (or whatever)
