Hi Everyone
Hope you enjoy Monsters vs Aliens Helen, I took DD and we loved it! (me more than her I think!)
Happy Anniversary Boysma! Hope you enjoy your meal
Well, I'm feeling on a bit of a downer today. Was told yesterday that my car is not worth fixing. It's only worth £1000 and will cost about £600 to fix.:(
I'm gutted. I feel like I'm making no headway with my debts as it is...
Only ray of light is Little DD gets Pre-School funding this month which should mean a reduction of £150 per month on the hefty childcare bill
(currently £669 for her and £180 for breakfast/After-school clubs:eek:).
We did intend to transfer this amount into a savings acc (currently empty, of course) for rainy day / emergency fund.
Really don't want to increase my debts, but can't see a way to avoid it as I cannot be without a car.
Anyway another £1 please Jo. Will keep plugging away x0 -

My Dad's taking it to a mate of his on Monday, but reckons the mechanic that has had it is the best he's come across....
He reckons I should cut my losses (though he doesn't know about my 17 grand nightmare ).
I'm going to see what happens on Monday and keep my fingers crossed.0 -
Afternoon all,
PaD for me today of £3.87
I misread when my payment was due on my CC statement so paid it off a week before I needed DOH! Oh well, at least I know exactly where I stand with my bank account - there's not much in it but at least nothing else is due before payday.
Off to watch the England match now - resisting the lure of farmville as once I start, that will be it!0 -
