  • HI,

Had my hands full last week or so, Little man was up the hospital in an ambulance on friday, fell of the sofa, would of took him up there myself but he would not move and was screaming the house down everytime i tried to move him (not like him at all), we thought he had broken something but x rays showed not, just badly sprained, but he is still in a lot of pain bless him but on the mend.:D

A bit upset:mad:, made the minimum payment about 3 hours late on the virgin card, there cut off time is 5pm to get to the account on time.
Been charged a late payment fee and have said they have withdrawn my 0% introductry offer. I have messaged them to request as a one off to be let off the fee and to have my 0% reinstated so fingers crossed there, I always pay things on time and hope they can see this is a one off and do the right thing. Just dont seem to have a second.

Anyways made a pad today of £24.71, been a bit slack recently and feel that Im making excuses for not padding, need a bit of encourgment and support if available.:D.

Hope you all have a good day, take care.

Angelic your day sounds about as good as mine lol I'm coming back as a man in my next life!!!!

    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Oh that does sound scary - glad he's ok.
    As for being slack....
Er...am I missing something or have you just had a new baby?!
Plus you have a toddler, so that combo sounds like exhaustion to me. Give yourself a break, you are really focussed and are doing brilliantly at paying your debts.
In another few weeks, you'll have more energy and might start doing some of the challenges - See Up Your Income thread, Matched Betting, Make £10 a Day etc.
But for now, just be happy that you're doing the best you can, because you sound like you're doing your little family proud! :T
  • Thankyou Macgirl, and flower.

What a lovely uplifting bit of advice, you bought a tear to my eye.:D.

Thats exactly what I needed to hear, more of the same please people!:o

TIFTK - i totally agree with Mac. This isn't the time to beat yourself up. I bet you haven't got time to spend much money anyway! :D

I haven't been able to PaD properly for months now, but i am focusing on not INCREASING my debt which is a key factor.

I hope Virgin give you a reasonable response as well ;)

  • Thanks Hopeful,

    You are right,

Not using the cards or upping the overdraft is also an achievment for most of us on here so for that reason we are all doing great!!!:j

Ive also just changed from weekly to monthly pay so that is taking some getting used to and no time to spend money but we do need to get out and get ourselves some new clothes, but have the cash not credit so I guess thats ok.:D.

Have not had a full months pay yet and I have worked out they when I do get paid im hopefully going to be able to PAD about £300.

Your all so lovely, I hope your OH appericiate you!:D

:T:T:T You are so right Hopeful.:T:T:T
Being on Mat leave twice in 2 years seriously added to my debts as I kept spending at the usual rate and had the "I'll deal with it later" attitude.

You still need to live and buy clothes but there are sooo many places to get cheap clothes these days, that it can be done on a budget.
It's not forever TIFTK - hang on in there matey! ;)

Your all so lovely, I hope your OH appericiate you!:D

Don't worry, mine gets a daily reminder in case he should forget! :rotfl:
