I had exactly the same thing happen to me a few weeks back. My husband was not very happy with me!

Basically they hacked into my account and gained access to my email account and hijacked my address book. My husband a bit of a computer buff did every virus check possible and luckily caught it in time and no other information was taken from our computer. Although they couldn't easily hack into my computer as my husband has all these new security measures on it and out IP address is never the same.

Poor you. Do make sure you do a virus check and the other thing that I did after the comoputer came up clean was to change all my passwords (bank, facebook, email - the whole lot!).

Big hugs. Cyber space can be a horrible place at times.

Thanks jedi, I have run the virus software and its picked up and dealt with something.... The account still seems to be sending links out, so I hope I don't kill anyone elses computer in the mean time!

I will be changing my sign in details as soon as I can!
