morning all! i'm off to hull today to see lazytown pirate show (MSE 5 quid tix, even taking into account petrol money it's cheaper than going to manchester!)

i PADed some change yesterday to my pot, not exactly sure how much :o so i'll guess 65p. will see what's left in my wallet when i get home tonight and pop a bit more in...

went to wigan with some friends for a shopping day yesterday and just about finished my xmas shopping (apart from DH, who is really hard to buy for). i can't bear crowded shops so very pleased to be done before the madness starts!

we had some lovely news this week - our new baby (airedale puppy!) was born on 1 october & we are going to see the litter on 1 nov to choose which one we want. :j we are all very excited!

have a great saturday! x ttb

  • During a visit to the mental asylum, I asked the director how do you determine whether or not a patient should be institutionalized.

"Well," said the director, "we fill up a bathtub, then we offer a teaspoon, a teacup and a bucket to the patient and ask him or her to empty the bathtub."

"Oh, I understand," I said. "A normal person would use the bucket because it's bigger than the spoon or the teacup."

"No." said the director, "A normal person would pull the plug. Do you want a bed near the window?"
