bannockburn visitors centre, stirling castle, wallace monument & blair drummond safari park are all within a 10 min drive from the centre of stirling .
The tolbooth theatre is a lovely place with a bar, restaurant and there will be something on at the weekend.

Sterling Mills, the outlet village at Tillicoultry, has good sales on just now. I can recommend the Bridge Inn at the end of the High Street in Tillicoultry for a tasty reasonably priced bar meal.0
