Ok, i just downloaded and installed FF 1.5.
All was going fine untill i tried to use it. I wont display any website, it just says 'Looking for website.com...' in the bottom right hand corner.
I think it may be my firewall setting not allowing it to acess the internet?
Im using norton. (yea, bad choice i know! lol)
Thankyou so much, A:I
P.S, here is another thread made by me on another website. It may help http://dsmeet.com/p/84618/ (im crispy)

... make your firewall allow firefox then!A:I wrote:I think it may be my firewall setting not allowing it to acess the internet?
or
my guess is the connection settings... click tools>options>connection settings... play around with the settings there... (autodetect/direct connect).
use IE's settings and stick them into FF; open IE, tools>internetoptions>connections>settings
good luck!0 -

Nothing wrong with Firefox, its just those people who think that Bill Gates rules the world and are too mean to have anything else open their websites !0 -
only websites which dont work properly with my firefox are online-virus-scans, windows update and my internet banking... they all say specificaly to use IE.. not a big issue for me, most sites work!0

You can get an "IE Tab" extension (Tools - Extensions - Find Extensions - loads of useful stuff to enhance FF) which works just fine when needed and when not needed then FF is much better, I think0
