Charges for Parking on Private Property

As someone who has the misfortune of living in close proximity to a Railway Station and Town Centre., our Private Estate employs a company to issue tickets to those who think that they can park in our Car Parks without permission. As owners/tenants/occuppiers of these properties we pay a lot of money for the upkeep of our Car Parks and even more for our properties. Therefore, the issue of Parking Fines for those who park in our Car Parks illegally, is the only deterent we have to ensure that those of us who have the legal right to park in our Car Parks can!
If we had a £1 for the amount of times people who park illegally say "I'll only be five minutes", "the space wasn't occuppied", "I can park where I please - its taxed!" - we would be millionaires ten times over.
When you buy/rent property, no-one else is entitled to use your parking space as they please, because for all other home owners out there if we pulled up and parked on your driveway, you would have an apoplectic fit. So before you park in an area that quite clearly states "resident parking only" it does not mean the whole of the County/Town, it refers to those that pay large sums to live there., if you still choose to ignore the sign or others that inform you that penalties will apply to those that shouldn't be parked there, then you are extremely rich as well as ignorant with no consideration for others.

The funniest post I have seen for a long time, thank youIf it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, we have at least to consider the possibility that we have a small aquatic bird of the family anatidae on our hands

Nope, not rich at all, although I am better off than I would have been. By simply putting these "fines" into a file marked "more unenforcable invoices" (yes, there is a file called "unenforcable invoices" which it sits next to) I have saved myself a fortune and have cost the companies YOU employ to "manage" your parking situation a small fortune in stamps, envelopes, ink and DVLA fees, which effectively, YOU are paying for.
Oh well, you live and learn...If it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, we have at least to consider the possibility that we have a small aquatic bird of the family anatidae on our hands

So, are you not? If people are parking in your spaces, and you are issuing them with tickets, are you not making a lot of money?Wonder why?0
