Whenever i open my laptop from standby, it says that i have 2 un-read emails but i cant seem to recover them!
I do notice that after my "unread messages" the email address has (2) after it.
Can anyone help?

is the unread messages next to your login name /icon on the welcome screem? If so this could be referring to windows messenger if you use it (or msn messenger / live messenger).
Sometimes the unread messenger mail can be slow to update too - so you may get the unread mail message even though you checked your msn mail just before shutting down the PCDon't try to teach a pig to sing - it wastes your time and annoys the pig0
