Design and architecture is something that'll come later in your development. Generally you'll start coding as a junior developer/developer. As you rise the ranks, gain experience, become a better coder you'll improve your skills at architecture and design.
In fact the more senior you become the more you'll find yourself swaying towards architecture and design (and less coding). My boss no longer codes, he's basically involved in spec'ing projects, working on scopes, database design/architecture, and advanced hosting setups (clusters etc...)."Boonowa tweepi, ha, ha."0 -
