    Hi Phil, I do pop in and out to keep track of you all, seen all the BR bashing that's been going on recently :mad: Some people really don't have anything better to do with their lives do they?
    As my mother used to say, if you haven't got anything nice to say, don't say anything at all :rotfl::rotfl:

    Hi Dreamcatcher,

    I would be very very tempte to write something alongthe lines of the following;

    Dear Sirs,

    I was somewhat surprised to receive your letter of the XXth, as I was declared bankrupt some time ago. I sincerely hope you didn't purchase the debt from Barclays, as they were made aware of my bankruptcy almost immediately it was declared.

    However, if you would be kind enough to supply a stamped addressed envelope, and a cheque or postal order in the sum of £5 to cover copying costs, I will be more than happy to supply a copy of the bankruptcy order. Alternatively you may wish to refer (or advise your clients to refer) to the Official Receiver, details of which are available in the London Gazette.

    Yours sincerely

    Or if, unlike me, you actually have a life on a Saturday evening, you could simply ignore it ;)

    Loving that letter :T

    I think I will ignore it, OH is a bit edgy about it all and is worried people will start banging on the door after money. He doesn't really understand how it works, bless him :D

    Ooops sorry, I was still on my 1st cup of coffee (I'm fine now just about finished with the 2nd cup!) - what I meant to say was - you contact the OR and ask them to send you a new I&E to fill in.

    That's what I need a very strong cup of coffee, my eyes are still fuzzy :rotfl::rotfl:

    Thanks for the advice, I haven't had a start date yet for the job as it's with the NHS, so could be ages yet :rotfl:They have to do all the relevant checks first. Once I have a start date I shall contact OR, but saying that I won't really know how much I will be paid until I have my first wage packet, by then I might already be discharged :rotfl:

    Leave it as long as you can then before contacting OR. When is your AD?
