'Simple' skin care products

I've heard some positive things about Simple's products recently and with times being hard I can no longer justify paying a premium for my usual Clarins stuff. I'm quite excited to try the Simple range, can anybody recommend?

I have just started using the simple derma cream on my sons eczema and so far it seems to be really good. I have also used the eye make up remover and moisturiser before, I have sensitive rubbish skin and it has never irritated it.

They brought me out in a swollen rash that needed steroids and are full of the usual chemicals that are in almost all skincare. Liquid paraffin, mineral oil, parabens, Silicones, detergents, surfactants and Polyethylene Glycol (PEG and a number) which has been declared unsafe for damaged skins.

The trouble is we've all got damaged skins. We might be using something with glycolic acid, lactic acid or salicyclic acid in it and not know - and these chemicals thin the skin. We might have used a facial scrub or cloth too vigorously, plucked our eyebrows, had a spot or a graze or a dry patch or a cat scratch...

I couldn't recommend Simple to anyone. It's vicious stuff.

I'm a Liz Earle girl but for those nights when I'm too tired to cleanse properly Simple facial wipes are brilliant. They remove waterproof mascara and don't irritate my skin. I'm prone to eczema around the eyes and these dont irritate or flare it up.
    April £5 a day challenge- £15.05/£150

It`s weird- I`m almost the total opposite- Simple wipes CAUSED eczema around & on my eyelids, I had to have antibiotics to help clear it- I, for one, wouldn`t use Simple ever again- shows how we are all different!

The whole idea of simple products annoy me! Their whole marketing ploy is about how kind to your skin it is, how it is for sensitive skin etc.... Like Primarni say's, it is full of all the usual parabens etc that most skincare contains, it makes me sore when I use it especially the eye make-up remover. The moisturiser 'burnt' my face when I applied it, I wouldn't recommend to anyone.

Personally I look for skincare that does not contain all the 'beauty baddies' such as parabens, glycolic acid etc. If I haven't heard of one of the ingredients then I don't buy it. I have quite good skin now, after years of suffering with dry patches, and combination skin, it is now pretty even, and rarely dry (unless I forget to moisturise for a few days oops!) I can get away most days without wearing foundation or powder (unless it's TOTM!)

I agree its not that gentle, i can use the eyemake up remover and the facial washes but after a few days my skin feels tight. The moisturiser did nothing for me, says its light but i found it quite greasy. The wipes are very harsh for my skin.
