'Simple' skin care products

  • I use the simple facial wipes and they have been my fave for a while but I brought some yesterday and they were different and not as good, left that slightly uncomfortable feeling on my skin that most wipes do and I don't even have sensitive skin so I might have to switch brands now.

Johnsons is much better Simple makes my skin flare up!

Johnson's stuff makes my skin break out in spots, especially the oil.
  • Thanks for your comments everyone....I'm having second thoughts about trying the 'Simple' range now. The thing is I hate wasting money on products that turn out to be unsuitable - I might as well just buy the expensive Clarins stuff which I know works for me in the first place. I am seriously considering trying Liz Earles cleanser though.

Have you thought about Botanics from Boots? Not sure if it has the nasties in (I've never checked! Whoops!) but they use plant extracts and overall it seems more natural and gentle. I'm currently using the foaming face wash and skin brightening cleanser and am pleased with them both.

Makes my face break out big time

if you want simple then go for stuff without the "Liquid paraffin, mineral oil, parabens, Silicones, detergents, surfactants and Polyethylene Glycol (PEG and a number) "
