Apple flight adaptor

Afternoon all. I am off to Australia in a little over a month and wondered if the Apple magsafe flight adaptor works on Virgin flights. I've tried doing some research but seem to come up with conflicting answers

Has anyone actually used one on a Virgin flight ?

Thanks in anticipation. :)

first thing, is you need to know what plane you are flying on..

second, you need to look on seatguru.com and find out if that plane offers any at seat power in the class of service you are flying in

having a quick look, it seems like they do not offer any at seat power, at any of the standard economy class seats, which is a bit of a poor effort.

anything higher than economy, (on most planes) they do have empower ports, so the apple adaptor would work fine, it doesn't charge, just trickle to keep the laptop powered. however, some planes only have power in Upper Class

    Cheers.

I am flying upper class, it just wasn't clear whether the magsafe was compatible with the empower system. Are you saying it 100% is ?
