I wouldn't bother with any of this cheap stuff if you can afford to - it's full of colours, preservatives and very little meat content! 4%?! My cat has more than that in one single pouch of wet food (73% fish).
First off it will seem 'pointless' to buy an 'expensive' food (you can get good food for around £20 - skinners is good!)
aye. Smilla is very good, bout 20p per 100g for the cans, Bozita too at 24p per 100g. Their biscuits are good too, Orijen biscuits are also really good and when you look at how much of them a cat needs, only like 45-55g because of the very high protein content, it doesn't work out too bad. But then I'm sort of the opposite, I'd rather eat slightly worse myself(mainly because there's more variation of cheap products for humans).0 -
Apologies if this has already been mentioned, but I bought three x 2kg bags of Go Cat complete dry food yesterday in Pets At Home - £4.89 per bag, which is about the same as elsewhere, but on a BOGOF so worked out at about £1.63 per kilo - cheapest I've seen elsewhere was a special offer in Jollyes for the 10kg sack for £17.xx, but the PAH offer still trumps this. Hi, I saw some Tesco's Cat Food Pouches reduced on the SEL from 31p to 14p today. Can't remember what sort it was, but in a little red and black pack. This was in an Express.
I'm not a cat owner but saw this bargain then noticed this thread.

Pets at Home are doing 24 cans of Own brand cat food with jelly, or Felix with jelly, for a tenner at the moment. Is there any where else that works out cheaper does anyone know?Live the good life where you have been planted.
