I am in the process of suing my GP for medical neglicence. My solicitor said a "no win no fee" claim is not available due to the type of case it is ie they will have to use a medical specialist to determine the neglicence claim and has asked if my credit card covers me for legal aid. I'm not sure whether it does. can you help ?

I've left my crystal balls in my other underpants, which card do you have? There are some reward style current accounts (where you pay a monthly fee) that offer some sort of family legal protection cover.
Your best bet would be to phone the card company directly (number on the back of the card) and check with your bank just incase.
EDIT: And your home insurance policy may have family legal protection cover, worth checking there too."A child of five could understand this. Fetch me a child of five." - Groucho Marx0
