small claims court - lower limits

I recently closed my Amex credit card account - there was a £5.20 credit balance.
I couldn't spend it as I forgot the pin number!
I have written to Amex numerous times asking them to return the credit but get no response.
Can I make a claim and can I also claim back postage and cost of phone calls ( 8 letters @32p) and 3 phone calls (on the office phone but so far about 40 minutes on the phone)
If I have posted in the wrong place feel free to move it

I don't know whether there is a minimum claim amount, but there seems to be a minimum fee of £25... refundable if you win.0 -
Thanks - I can't find any evidence of a minimum amount on the link uyou mentiond. I didn't want to write to them threatening legal action I had no recourse to court.

You may well find that it is thrown out of court as being a waste of Court time.

How do I access the FOS - do I just complain to the FSA?
