Primus & BT 1280

Hi,

Has Primus barred the use of 1280 to make call through BT?

I have Primus as my CPS provider. Yester I have some call abroad using 0844 number. I have dialed 1280 followed by the 0844 number.

I have checked my BT account number but no recent calls are listed. Normally it updates overnight.

    I've not had any problems with 1280 and I think it takes 48hrs for calls to appear on your recent usage page of your account with BT.

    I'm with Primus too.

    It's working perfectly. I have just made a call (my Orchid sends all weekend 01/02/03 calls with a 1280 prefix instead of via Primus). I have Charge Advice switched on so I can confirm that the prefix is working and have just had the Charge Advice callback.
    Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.
