get their SWIFT code and IBAN for the account and pay into the account directly
In the United Kingdom 200,000 people are bitten by dogs every year and some people will die as a result. Of those bitten, 70% are children... So the question has to be asked....... Has the time come to ban children?0 -

Very strange to request payment in t/cheques since it requires you to sign both signatures on the cheques before sending them. I assume you are
posting them, rather than delivering by hand. If they get lost in the post,
anyone getting hold of them could try and cash them and they are more difficult to trace than a draft.
ON the other hand, if you are delivering by hand, then it probably boils down to a question of cost. A draft willcost about £12 to £15. T/cheques might
be cheaper depending on how much the deposit is and what the largest denomination of cheque is.0 -
well my bank said it would be £15 so asking if i can just do a bank transfer which im asuming will be cheaper and safer!!! will see what happens.. otherwise just have to stump up the £15£2008 for 2008 club No. 286
