Cash into your bank from a Non SBT card.

ok so heres the deal.

say you want some cash (for spending/saving).

Amex Blue send you an offer of a balance transfer @ 2.9% with no BT fee.

You accept and take up to 95% of your credit limit and put it onto your mule card (say MBNA).

Once you have the money on your card you then call MBNA and explain you have mucked up (wrong balance transfer details for instance) and want the money transferred into your bank account.

They say of course sir, and it turns up a few days later.
tada....SBT from non-SBT card.

A cunning new ploy ? or an advanced advanced system (ie you dont even need an SBT card)

It is a possible loophole and in your case may only work once or twice before they catch on.
I posted a similar loophole with the American Express Platinium card and transfering funds from it to the American Express Travellers Cheque card to boost your annual spend and so get upto the 2% cashback level without actually spending anything.
It worked for me several times but they have since got wise to it and it was only really possible during the 0% period .
    Keep up the lateral thinking.

Collect 'special' credit card cheques sent to you where the accompanying letter states 'there will be no fee'. Sometimes these are undated too. Write the cheque to yourself after making your fee-free 0% transfer 'from' there. Cheque will not present to account for a few days so it is safe to present cheque on day 'one', say and make transfer on day 'two'. But, as always with these 'loopholes' you must check out the terms and conditions on your card - since some cards may return a large payment putting the account into credit - only a problem if the 'payment' hits the account before the cheque presents.
.....under construction.... COVID is a [discontinued] scam
