skype stole my money

I was shocked to find skype had taken the money from my account because I hadn't used it for 180 days. I'm not technically minded so didn't really use it and their warning emails didn't really register as I had long forgotten there was a time limit. This just seems to be stealing to me. Has this happened to anyone else? Do you think it's fair? Any suggestions as to what I should do? I've complained to no avail but I feel strongly about this. After all, if I leave money in a bank account and don't use it, the bank doesn't take it (one way banks are better than skype).

It is wrong but it's stated in their terms and conditions. I think their robbers but then so are most financial institutes.0

Same thing happens with payg mobile phones. It will be legal for sure.0

Switch over to a proper VOIP provider like Sipgate. You get a free geographical number and the rates aren't bad either.0 -
I use Jajah which is cheaper to kenya.0

Credit != Money unfortunately, even though it's usually measured in £ and the conversion rate is 1:1 (except for PAYG that refund VAT to you
). So it's probably quite legal. 0
