Legally speaking, are there certain times when deliveries of free papers and leaflets are allowed?

Somebody can stick something through your letter box (oo-er) anytime of the day or night.
If it reached the level of harrasment you could get a restraining order/ASBO which would make it illegal0 -

Dammit, I'm gonna go to jail, I popped a letter through my neighbours letterbox at 23:59:30. How was I to know there was a whole 59 seconds where it wasn't allowed
If it looks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, we have at least to consider the possibility that we have a small aquatic bird of the family anatidae on our hands

Does your neighbour know you're hanging around outside his house at midnight pushing letters through?
Squirrel! If I tell you who I work for, I'm not allowed to help you. If I don't say, then I can help you with questions and fixing products. Regardless, there's still no secret EU law.

I used to in my old house, as the letter box made a bang when it closed again, and my dog would go mental barking. We used to have a chap who delievered crappy leaflets at 5am and it was annoying getting woken up for something I didn't even want! Here I go again on my own....0 -

Get up to answer the door and nobody is there, just a bloody menu or collection leaflet
I did put a sign up ~ didn't make a blind bit of notice because they still came.
I must get about 3 menus a a week, a couple of collection bags and a couple of those scam 'charity' collection leaflets.
Wouoldn't mind but it's the same people putting them through time and time again, like we all have a sack full of stuff to donate weekly?!Tank fly boss walk jam nitty gritty...0
