Bless your little girl Jamie....I would scream if anyone went near my eyes - and I'm 35!!

I have spent £1.70 on a Get Well Soon card for my neighbour who has had to have a big op. Also £13.25 on a hair product I need which I bought online via Quidco to earn some cash back. I was going to buy it anyway....

    That's it today. No more!

Good luck CAFCgirl for the interviews.

Aww JamieD hope you're little girl is ok, my DS used to have those drops too.

Have managed a no spend day here - that's 4 in a row! Admittedly, I've been eyeing up the Clarins products I use at on Boots-online (1000 Adv points up for grabs, plus Quidco cashback). Will mull it over for a few more hours, days maybe!

    CC - £4,500 on 0% til 02/2019

I jinxed myself this week - aiming for 3 no spend days! The week has so far been a parade of a few bits each day - but I've decided to be happy at my control in not buying too much rather than feel a failure for not predicting the need and organising them all into one shop!

Total for today - 91p on cabbage (a present!)

Today I've spent £39.50 on my dad's 60th birthday present - a bottle of single malt whisky. Also £3.75 on some teaching resources from ebay. I've had two no spend days this week so far (hoping for tomorrow too.....), so I'm really proud of myself as this is the second "proper" week post-lightbulb moment!

  • No spend for me today apart from the usual 1.50 on DD's dinner money. Going to start packed lunches again and see if she eats them.

Feel bad that I forgot that I'd put some of my food shopping on Tesco card last month - I knew I'd spent 85 on 2 suits from Next Clearance.
So, now balance is 300 pounds!!!!!
I get paid tomorrow and had 62 left in account so did an online payment for that. I have 120 in expenses account so will transfer that tomorrow.
Grocery challenge starts tomorrow - aim for 25 a week.
DD and friend at swimming lessons Saturday - already paid for - but like to take them for lunch ( Asda - 2 kids boxes for 2 pounds, lol)
Off to BF's for rest of weekend - so no spend at all hopefully.

My biggest challenge next week will be to not buy coffee or anything at airport - i have an interview on Tuesday. Will start thinking about what to bring with me.

I spent 80 odd pence on some washing up liquid and a srcubbing brush. Was going to go into Asda, but went into Savers instead.

Then I gave £1 to charity.

    So only £1.80 spent today.
