Caught out - no transfer to back account

So I recently applied for a halifax and barclays cards only to be approved and then told I cannot transfer a balance to my current account :rolleyes:

So who do I go for next? Egg, capital one?
I've got a MBNA card through A&L so any more MBNAs are out of the question

Why? You can hold up to 5 MBNA run cards.

If you didn't have your mule card in place, did you have your high interest stoozepot accounts in place or are you offsetting a mortgage?

Oh yeah, and you know the maximum promo BT you can do with Barclays is 5k?
