Faulty Van-What Next?

Hi, I own a van that I bought from new from a dealer 2 1/2 years ago. I have had an intermittent fault with it pretty much from the start. I took the vehicle back to the dealers many times (80 days plus) and they have just not being able to solve the problem. They admit there is a fault, and to be fair have tried many things and always provided a courtesy vehicle, and have been as helpful has possible but the fault remains. What now?
What are my rights? Do I demand a new replacement van? or one of a similar age and mileage? How would I go about that? Do I need a Solicitor? An independent report? What?
Or do I just sell it and pass on the problem to someone else? It's still under warranty after all.

Have you only ever tried the same dealer? I had an problem with a Vauxhall Astra which one dealer was unable to fix in weeks of trying but was rectified by another Vauxhall dealer in a day!0

Andy there's a dedicated motoring section on MSE - you could try asking for your thread to be moved.
Or a quicker solution would be to simply post a duplicate thread. There are some really knowledgable people in that section and I'm sure one of them will have an answer for you.
Good luck.0 -
Hi, thanks, but what i'm asking for are my consumer rights, and yes I've put the thread in the motoring section as well.0
