Roof Repair, Soffits and Facia

Ok, so I need a repair to the facia at the front of our 1980s 3 bed semi and would also like soffits/facias done all round with UPVC as they're starting to rot.

350 to do the repair plus
750 for soffits and facias all round (already came down from 1k quote)

Said he would come back to me regarding the repair as it would be quite involved and require removal of tiles etc etc. He never called back despite me chasing plus
2k for soffits and facias all round and he said I would need new guttering all round too which is included in this price

320 for repair plus
130 for facias all round. This guy said that i didn't need the soffits done and was quite happy to put back the current guttering to keep the cost down.

What are your feelings? I'm liking the honestly of the last guy as he wasn't trying to get me to spend money we don't have.

I'm just wondering if it's gonna be a waste of time not getting the soffits and guttering done at the same time - is quote 3 going to cost me more in the long run?!

No idea about the costs, But I recently painted all of my guttering with Hammeright smooth black paint (no undercoat, no primer) and they look better than new!!, so dont get new guttering. if its UPVC it will never go wrong. Stear ckear of the UPVC paints as they are pants
