I agree with poppysarah, we're moving (due to exchange contracts on monday fingers crossed) and wouldn't have dreamt of excluding the fitted oven and hob - not that I'd even know where to start with removing them if I wanted to! Our vendors are also leaving theirs for us.
Have they indicated on the list that they would sell them to you?
No price on the FF form so I guess they're taking it..
Edit - I don't think it's a fitted oven as such..0 -
If it's not a fitted oven, then it's not so unusual. Most of the people who looked at my place asked if the free-standing cooker was included in the price. If they've got a very high-spec oven then - to be fair - it's possible they're just attached to the thing... Could you get a more conventional oven to fit (unless you want the high spec one) or do you want an equivalent spec? Of course, you'll want to negotiate the best deal you can.
Are they going to be taking out a fitted hob, though?0 -

We did ask the vendor if everything in the kitchen was staying and she did say yes which is why we're a bit confused.. The hob isn't fitted no but I till find it strange to exclude it from the sale. They are a divorced couple so communication is probably not the best.. The man is being particularly awkward with everything..0 -
if you were told it was inckuded, and now it isn't, you might want to reduce your offer by the amount an oven will cost to replace as you have been misled. Depends how much time vs money is worth to you in arguing, and if you think you'd lose the house over it.Debt free 4th April 2007.

What do the agents details, adverts, web site, etc say?
Sellers have to sign off the sales details thereby approving all the content so you may have a basis for objecting?A retired senior partner, in own agency, with 40 years experience in property sales & new build. In latter part of career specialising in commercial - mostly business sales.0 -

It's bad form if they said it was included, and are now changing their mind (without offering to reduce the price/pay for a replacement).0 -

In my eyes it is an attempt, by the seller, to make more ££££ from the sale so thereby gazumping?A retired senior partner, in own agency, with 40 years experience in property sales & new build. In latter part of career specialising in commercial - mostly business sales.0 -
I agree, IF you were offering your offer being sure it was included. In my eyes it is an attempt, by the seller, to make more ££££ from the sale so thereby gazumping?
Did you ask what was and was not included?
I must admit I’m surprised how few of our viewers ask about these things.0
