Quick Question

I sold something for £280 that was working when sold on ebay March 2009 in April the buyer said he didn't think it worked, I gave him further instructions on how to work it then told him to let me know the outcome. Today I've got an email saying it's been tested and doesn't work so wants his money back.

Where do I stand and I've closed that ebay account now can he find my contact details I'm scared he'll come looking for his money.

It is a bit late for him to be looking for a refund, he should have tested the item back in March/April.

He can only put a claim through paypal for up to 45 days
  • He left it a little late didnt he! If the item was genuinly working when you sold it I would just ignore him and he will go away. If there was a problem with it, my concience would get the better of me even though he is way out of time for a Paypal claim :o

*Not saying there was anything the matter with it so no offence meant :)*
