Where do I go from here?

I've been using Ebay for 4 years and never had a problem until now so not sure of the process.

I bought some earphones on the 31st of July, low cost item nothing big, didn't receive them till the 11th but they were faulty so emailed the seller (power seller if it makes a difference) straight away asking what their preferred way of resolving this was and got no reply, I then emailed again on the 17th asking for them to look into it, still no reply.

Now its only a couple of quid so feel daft about it really but at the end of the day its my couple of quid.

I just went to "My Ebay" and the only option on there was "resolve a problem" but the next page shows it to be not received or as described. Is this the right option?

Is there not an option that says 'the item was broken or faulty' ? If not then yeh that would be the right choice.

Curiosity got the better of me and I went through the link and the seller has a message on paypal saying they have a priority email address to use as they claim Paypal wont give the money back for 6 weeks. I think I'll try the email address, how long shall I give them to reply? 48 working hours?

If it's a powerseller 48 hours should be more than enough time for a reply since its probably a small business or something.

If you get no answer from the seller you can open a not significantly as described I would think because they were described as working yet they weren't ...

SNAD (significantly not as described) is the correct option to use.
