Which is better? The prices work out about the same for us but AT is a bit further to drive. We've been to AT before but never been to Sandcastle. Not sure whether to give it a go or stick with what we know? The children are 4 & 7 so won't be wanting any of the fast crazy rides.

I'm tempted by Blackpool this year, but I do love Alton Towers. The new sealife centre is amazing, it really is superb. We wandered into Hex, at the castle, not expecting anything much but it was the best! :cool:I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Old style MoneySaving boards.

Have been put off by the negative reviews online for Sandcastle. Okay, they're 50/50 between good and bad but on a weekend in August in Blackpool, it's definitely going to be too busy for 2 small children. Now going to the National Media Museum in Bradford instead, and it's free. So even better.0
