I hope you're not too disappointed to find out we don't have a secret clubhouse where we gather to trade items free from the constraints of money while drinking champagne from the snoods of turkeys.

Damn, I knew we'd forgotten to invite someone.

If I tell you who I work for, I'm not allowed to help you. If I don't say, then I can help you with questions and fixing products. Regardless, there's still no secret EU law.

    Of course.

It contains cake, all wrapped up in shredded copies of the Sale of Goods Act.

Calm down! I first saw the notice BEFORE I worked in retail. It amuses me because I know it wouldn't stand if challenged. As for reporting it to trading standards, I doubt they'd do anything and it'd take them years of beurocracy before they got to the point to decide not to do anything.

Don't forget that just because I work in a shop doesn't mean I'm not a customer in shops, too. I hope you're not too disappointed to find out we don't have a secret clubhouse where we gather to trade items free from the constraints of money while drinking champagne from the snoods of turkeys.

I am calm, I calmly pointed out my thoughts on the point you brought to the thread, if you, (and others), don't report this type of signage, then nothing will be done, TS cannot do anything if they don't know about it!

I reported a similar sign to our local TS about 4-5 years ago, the sign was removed within 2 weeks,( might have been sooner, but it was about 2 weeks before I went to the outlet again).

Perhaps that's why he is so well versed in it these days!
