    Hi smilyone
Yes the lady from the bank is right they only have to keep records for 6 years and will not be bothered to look at older records If they still have them.
But even if you have all the statements unless they say Child support/csa payment for child X the mum can and will say that it was repayment of a loan or debts.
You cant prove it so pay the £760 at £40 a month and move on with life.

Jeesus, thats bad. I understand what your saying as its only over 700 quid just pay it and move on, but its just so wrong wrong wrong for me that is.

why dont they start doing that instead then. send out smaller amounts that are more easily payable then hope most or all will say "well its the CSA I cant prove I dont owe it so i'll just pay it':mad:

Lets just say for a quiet life he pays this 760, what happens if in 6 months they suddenly remember he owes another 500 quid from years ago when they under assessed him for 3 months, what then eh??? just keep on paying this small sums or what?

this is where they get their thievin robbin ...:mad: nickname from. I cant prove I paid my phone bill in 1998 I have no evidence at all but BT havent been back to me for it yet:rotfl: if they do come at me i'll be f**ked:eek:

lol, I agree with u blonde bint ;), if the csa haven't got the evidence that its not a loan he has paid into the ex es account, then how can they say the money wasn't for child/support, shouldn't the ex have documents with that amount linked to a loan and if she hasnt then she has no evidence that it is not child support :j otherwise every woman will jump on the bandwagon and get more from there exes
