Are we destined not to get it?

We collect the Me To You grey bears and bought one we didn't have from ebay. After 3 weeks it hadn't turned up and the lady sent a copy of the postage receipt then refunded us as it looked like it had got lost in the post.

All well and good, we bought the same bear from a different seller and now it seems that this one has been lost as well as it's 18 days since they posted it out first class.

It seems we're not going to get this bear for our collection

I had a similar thing happen recently. An item I bought was broken during packaging by two different sellers before I finally managed to get one intact on the third attempt.

I reckon your postie is a me to you collector too or selling them on lol. strange and unlucky that two went missing, maybe its just been caught in the strikes.

Next time you buy it you could message seller and just ask if they wouldnt mind you paying the extra for it to be sent recorded delivery! ive had buyers do that before.

I am a seller and sent an item to a buyer that never arrived. They contacted me, I apologised and sent it again - it still never arrived.

I then sent it recorded, and yes, you guessed it, it never arrived (and shows on the Royal Mail website as not arriving). I gave up and gave them a refund!

How odd is that?

I do have proof of postage for all three items, must make sure I remember to chase them all up (if it happens occasionally, to be honest, I don't bother, only because I am to lazy to do the paperwork).

that is bizarre, im sure Royal mail will refuse to pay out on all of them except the recorded delivery because they were all going to the same address and they will use any excuse/reason not to pay out the full compensation and send 6 stamps. which is what theyve done to me last two times ive claimed for a buyers lost item. One of them was even recorded delivery and I had the original receipt from when i bought it 6 weeks before hand!!

I sent an item Special Delivery recently but the RM website wouldn't track it. So I contacted them and asked whether it had arrived. They sent me a letter confirming it had been delivered, and a scan of the "signature". Then they sent me an email stating they had no trace of it ever arriving. Needless to say, I've written to them asking if it has arrived or got lost!
