Welcome to the forum.
Firstly you have given the tier 1 prices for gas and electricity(only the first few kWh are charged at that price) a more representative price is arround 3.5p gas and 10p electricity.
This question has been posed many times on MSE. Whilst gas would appear to be cheaper, there will be a lot more heat lost in warming the stove.
That said we are really talking in small fractions of a penny in the difference to boil a kettle.0
