Did you put the item on for collection? If you didnt just reply to them that you do not offer collection option and if they wish to purchase the item they will have to use the postage options provided. If you did offer collection you can always specify that contact and arrangements to be made by email. Although if they won the item they can get your details from ebay.

Even if you are interested in the offer I would consider letting the auction run (you could finish it earlier) Some buyers target new sellers hoping to get a bargain. You may get more money letting it run.

Good advice thank you I did say its collection only as large item and as you saidfif they want any more details they can email me and I will then give them my phone number as I dont want lots of unknown people knowing my number. If they are really interested they can bid for it, think that they must know that I am new to selling.

Also when you do sell it ask for cash on collection. If they pay via paypal they could technically claim for non receipt and you would be unable to prove that so paypal would refund them.

Just send them a polite message back saying that as you have lots of people watching the auction, you would prefer to let it run to the end, but if they're interested, they are welcome to bid on it.

(and do as cyberbob says regarding cash on collection! - VERY important!)
Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)
