Eletric Shock

Hi,
I just bought a camcorder and when unplugging the charger it gives me a painfull eletric shock it pretty hard not to touch the plug pins if I do avoid it the charge is still there until I touch something like the wall and it discharges.
Is this something like unfit for sale or is it ok for the manufacter to send out something like this.
Thanks

Sounds more like static electricity to me. You could try unplugging the charger from the mains before disconnecting the camcorder and see if that makes a difference.0

Nothing should shock you, although it doesn't sound dangerous as such. Contact the retailer and see if you can get a replacement. It might be a one off fault with yours - I doubt they are selling camcorders with a known fault.0
