Where do your children play???

I agree that children need lots of adult interaction, not just to supervise them but also to develop their language/communication skills and imaginative play. At these ages it is possible to incorporate play into adult activities and vice versa, such as getting them to help with tasks such as laying the table and putting away washing, etc. It's also positive to join in their play, such as pretend play (home corner/construction) and messy activities.
A good solution can be to store toys and equipment away and just bring out a few items at a time. This has the advantage of limiting the mess and helping children focus in their play.somewhere between Heaven and Woolworth's0
