Winter beach holiday in November

My partner and I have both booked a week off work in the middle of November and plan to go away for a week. Not fussy whether package holiday or flights + hotel booked seperately. Wondered if andyone had any tips on where would be the best place to go which will still be hot enough for the beach and there is things to do (sightseeing)? We have a budget of about £450 each. Any suggestions welcome!

Thanks!

If you can live without a beach and replace it with a lovely garden and pool, I'd suggest you go to Luxor. Masses of sightseeing on your doorstep and it should still be lovely and hot.

Tunisia, Tenerife or Cyprus should all still have pleasant temperatures.

We have looked at Cyprus but read that it is very expensive there for food etc. Anyone know what these places suggested are like for prices? thanks

I wouldn't trust either Cyprus or Tunisia for good (or even ok) weather in November. I would look at the canaries, or egypt is perfect at that time of the year, as already said.

Thanks, that's what I was afraid of! Miamoo, have you been to either of these, or know of any good resorts?

No I haven't been to the canaries or egypt, I have booked Lanzarote myself for a bit of winter sun in December, as we got really cheap flights with easyjet.
Tenerife or Gran Canaria seem the most popular in the winter, as they are slightly further south, so a little bit more reliable with the sunshine!
Go on tripadvisor they will have lots of advice on resorts and hotels on there.
