We have an R300 and have printed out some photos on good photo quality paper and the prints were brilliant. This is strange because essentially the r200 and r300 are the same model, but the 300 has a couple of extra gizmos.Baby Year 1: Oh dear...on the move

It sounds like your photographs are too dark! i.e. incorrectly exposed. If you download Irfanview you will be able to adjust your pictures before printing them.
If you view a photo using Irfanview and then do Shift G you will get a window that allows you to adjust the brightness, contrast, colours etc. with an original image and an adjusted image displayed. For more info just press F1 for help. Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0 -
I think you just need to check your printer settings and adjust for photo printing. Go to your printer icon, right click and go to properties>General>Printing Preferences the select Paper/Quality. Set it for best quality and photo paper.
It generally takes afew goes to get it just right. Then don't forget to set the default to the type of printing you normally use.0
