Anyone have experience of issuing MCOL against American Express

I've gone through the 2 letter process with Amex and they will only refund the difference.

They say if I take court action they will defend - Does anyone have experience of taking this action?

    Hi
Again this is just a ploy to try and get you to stop.Once you file a court claim they will do one of two things.
    A) not defend at all and you win by asking for judgment in your favour
    B) They will defend but when the court date is issued they will pay up if not before .

send the claim off to the court or do MCOL and I bet 100% you will get an offer of them!!.

What i would do is send them one last letter if you hav't already stating if they dont pay up with 7 days you are filing a claim and will be charging them the extra interest, court fees and any OOP expensis.

    If they don't reply-issue the claim:rolleyes:
