Pipex nightmare!!!!!!

Hey

Just asking if anyone knows how to complain officially about Pipex. My parents have encountered numerous problems with these guys. They cut them off, even when they have paid the bill?! Bills are never sent on time. They quite often get the failed payment before it is even due.

It's ridiculous! When they are cut off its 2-3 days at a time. And compensation they have offered for their mistakes is a poxy £5??!!

My parents often have to send a copy of payment/proof, why are they like this? This has been ongoing for months...

Im not sure how the cancellation fees go, but I think something needs to be done about these guys for my parents sanity!

Please if anyone knows how to help :)

    Preferably, change your ISP.
    But how are they paying? If it's on direct debit, these problems should not be occurring.
    No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)
  • Similar problem.
    Cancelled pipex as they took over toucan and changed t&c regarding length of time allowed on free calls.
    They were making charges for some of these free calls so cancelled and have to await for BT take over.
    After a long phone call on the 0871 they agreed they will cancel and as I have DD I will have to contact their relevant department.
    Contacted them and they said cancel it with bank.Done.
    Next we cannot make outgoing calls and they are chasing for the next payment.
    After a couple of weeks and phone calls from them chasing I realised that when they took over toucan they took 2 months rental to be in advance.So they have the money for for the current period.
    They chased again I think it is a far eastern call centre and they speak english but do not understand it.
    Yesterday they rang again so I asked if they recorded calls and was told yes so I said they have the money for the current period and have cut me off so as they are not providing the service for which I have paid I am going to sue them for Wasting my time,loss of paid for service, and compansation for anything I can think of when taking out the proceedings.Emphasised I mean it as I have done it with others who play around.
    Strange I have got my phone line back till BT take it over in September.
