Asda online shopping - overcharged by £60

I wonder if anyone else has had this problem, I have shopped online for well over a year with Asda, with no problem. However at my last shop, I noticed that the receipt showed £166.11 even though when you added up the items on there, it came to £118.66 (then with the promotions, the total was £106.26)
I spoke to their customer services department who advised I would have to wait and see what I was charged ! Sure enough I was charged the £166.11
After ringing up again, I was told I would get a refund of £47.45 (in about 10 days), which to me, is £12.40 too little, but I am assured byt he Customer Service rep that the £12.40 will be added on (this I doubt very strongly).
What really annoys me, is there seems to be no way at all to email their customer services and put a complaint in writing - it always refers you to the phone number. Has anyone else had problems with them online ?
Thanks
Duncan

If you want me to investigate this, then please send me your order number.
I'll then be able to look into this for you.

I don't buy online with Asda anymore, the new website didn't work and the IT help department were next to useless, in fact never bothered to get back to me.Declutterbug-in-progress.⭐️⭐️⭐️ ⭐️⭐️0

I've stopped shopping online with Asda as well now, I've been waiting must be 3 months for a refund after being sent 3 packs of meat with a use by date that was the day it was delivered. There customer service used to be really good but now they just seem to fob you off with promises of refunds that don't materialise. :mad:2011 Sealed Pot Challenge #1238 hoping for £250 ~ saved £743.32

Diane,
I've had exactly the same problem. I have been waiting for a refund for about the sametime as youand albeit a small amout, thats not the point. when I have phoned they tell me that its been sent back to my account. I'm still waiting. I had a delivery roughly mid june and the payment took 6 six weeks to leave my account. It seems since the new website has been put in place that the problem has arisen. Not had home delivery since.0 -
I've never had any real problems with Asda, those that I have had have been dealt with in a friendly way.
And at the moment, I say a big Thank You To Asda for reducing the price of Napolina tomaotes to a fair price, even if it's only for a short while......... :cool:I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Old style MoneySaving boards.

Oddly enough, just today, I too have decided to completely abandon Asda for making far too many errors, giving me unbearably poor offshore customer service and finally for one muck up too many with MY money.
Goodbye, you will not be missed.
Oh yes and they took six weeks to take a payment from my card too!0 -
