Is this the Heaviest Jiffy bag in the World!!

I bought an item at the weekend. I thought the postage was a little steep but the overall price was OK(If the postage was high I would have just mark DSRS appropriatly).
The item arrived Yesterday. It was in the heaviest A4 Jiffy bag in the world!. For starters it could have fitted in a Jiffy half the size. I thought the Jiffy was heavy so I weighed it. 150grams! I have Jiffys I use the same size that weigh less than 50g. The item weighed 100g. SO Technically the postage cost was fine with 50p added for packing, but if they had sent it in an appropriate sized non lead lined Jiffy it would have been posted at 60 pence cheaper.
I just cant believe the weight of the bag I have never come across one that heavy.
After the poor postie lugging that heavy parcel on his bike I an going to have to return the item as its not as described. I know I can send it back recorded cheaper than the original Postage cost so thats a plus point.
So anyone come across any heavier packaging?

I had something arrive in old battered christmas wrapping paper once.
I usually use lightweight mailing bags to post things, or brown paper and parcel tape if i run out of bags!
What made the jiffy so heavy?Mum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession

I've had small non fragile items sent in boxes before now with shredded newspaper..one small soft item wighed less than 100g unpacked, but with boxes and newspaper it came in at over 500g. I thought that was a bit overkill.
Warning.newspaper is heavy even when shredded!I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I guess it's one of those annoying fibre filled ones, that if you catch them wrong will spill green stuff everywhere. The Body Shop still use them- I guess they think they are being green, but since they are heavier they cause more work for the vehicle that has to carry them
It's all for show :rotfl: This is my opinion. There are many others like it but this is mine:kisses2: Fiancee of the "lovely" DaveAshton :kisses2:I am a professional ebay seller. I work hard at my job, I love my job, if you think it's silly that's your problem not mine.

I once bought a Hello Kitty cushion on ebay
the seller wrapped it in one layer of that
cheap christmas paper, the only reason I
managed to recieve it is because our
postman happened to be in the main sorting
sorting office when it came tumbling down
with literaly shreds of paper still attached the
only thing still visable was part of our postcode
and he kind of guessed it was mine.I had to
describe it to him first and he dropped it in on
his next round.Still cant believe anyone could
be so dim, wonder if its the same seller.:j:j:j0 -

I think your postman deserves a pat on the back and a mice pie at Christmas
Mine wouldn't bother to do that! But then i think my continuing ebay parcels get on his nerves. We had an infill postman when mine was ill and he asked if it was my birthday
