Pegasus International / Sunterra Information Needed

Has anyone had experience of either of these connected organisations? I am assuming its some kind of holiday telephone promotion scam. Any information appreciated.

Hi I got the telephone call last week after I filled in what I thought was a free prize drawer form at a Easter Weekend Gamefair. I then got a call to say that I had won or been selected for a holiday which I could take within the next 18 months but had to go to Lancaster to collect the prize.

I did a search on the internet and although I cant find the link now it came up on a blacklist / fraud site.

Hi,

I got the same phone call a couple of years ago. We did take up the offer for a holiday although I expected to turn up and there be no free holiday, but it didnt happen. We arrived at the resort and it was excellent, the holdiay was great and got talked into buying points. Everything was going fine and we went on a free short break later that year and bought more points. More fool us!!! We ended up shelling out almost £16K for 10,000 points which was fine cause we were so impressed with the resorts that we had seen and the idea of having similar accomodation and facilities for future holidays. I recently decided to look into the selling points to help finance a big house move only to find out that points are selling for around 15p (for our points we would get back £1500 for those who cant be bothered to work it out!!). Also the maintenace fees are now around £800 a year and rising. A friends parents also looked into selling their points and found the same results. The majority of people are giving their points away free just to get out.

Has anyone else got the same problem???? Would like to find out just how many of us there is out there to see if anything can be done.

They dont tell you about this site and it is very hard to find, I had several interesting phone calls to sunterra before they told me about it!
