Capital One "Never Ending Story"

Just a quick question to anyone that knows. Do I have to send £10 to ask for details of the charges that they have charged me on my account to be sent to me? They are really wearing me down on this case it has been going on for ages and it has taken them 2 months to reply asking for this £10 to be sent and then they state the 40 day limit will start. These are really cheeky people!!! I can't seem to find anywhere on the information pages or template letters on the site to help. Thanks to anyone

Whether you're requesting a SAR - subject access request ie. full details re: your fin. transactions, held by Capital One; or requesting statements/summary of CC charges, you only have to pay £10. Request a SAR - the template letter can be found on this website. Send them a cheque/postal order. Don't include money though.
